The main objective of education system of a state is to prepare and groom up a youth that can cope with the advancements and modernization in the education and technology all around the world, and bring forth the best of their abilities. In Pakistan at all 5 levels i.e. primary, middle, secondary, higher secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels of educational system, to check the performance and learning of students; proper assessment and evaluation systems are established at all levels by the authorities starting from the very basic level of 5th grade. Both provincial and federal ministries of education conduct examinations at this level. Provincial boards are run by each provinces` Education Commission e.g. in Punjab PEC i.e. Punjab Education Commission conducts and so on. Whereas, Federal Ministry of Education carries out 5th class exams run by FDE. A lot of argument has always been taking place between FBISE and FDE for getting the authority of conducting 5th class exams since 2011, with the result of leaving most of the students at times confused whether Federal Board Of Intermediate and secondary education i.e. Fbise or FDE i.e. Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad would conduct their 5th class annual exams, Despite all these disputes for the past few years examination for 5th class have been conducted by FDE, under federal ministry of education Islamabad. These are all 5th class centralized exams for all Islamabad model colleges.
FDE 5th class result 2013, announcement on 2nd April 2013
the class centralized annual exams are usually announced within a monthn and half or two after the conduction of Exams. This year the result as per the statement of FDE spokesperson, was supposed to be announced by the end of month of March i.e. 29th march 2013. But due to some unforeseen circumstances the result announcement got delayed to 1st week of April. According to the latest updates the result got announced by FDE finally, today on 2nd April 2013, Tuesday. The result can be viewed on the official site of Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad. Moreover as per the news updates the overall performance is as follows:
Total Candidates Registered for annual exams 5th grade: 3253.
Total Candidates that Appeared in 5th grade annual exams: 3233
Passed candidates: 3139
Failed Candidates: 74
Passing Percentage: 97.09%
The above statistics show that the overall performance of students enrolled in 5th grade centralized annual exams under Federal Directorate of Education was good. With most students succeeding in passing the assessment and getting promoted to next grade.
